If muted, one may hardly recognize this video is Bob Dylan’s one. It is more suitable for a NC-17 gangster movie than a song by the folk icon.

Rolling Stone magazine called it “shockingly violent”. However, it is Bob Dylan’s first presented song called “Duquesne Whistle”, one of 10 from his new album Tempest which is to be released on September 11.

At the beginning, it looks ok: a handsome guy who is trying to impress a pretty girl mimicking Charlie Chaplin... However, after the star is kidnapped and tortured, the video starts resembling Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs or — as Rolling Stone writes — “deleted scene from Goodfellas”.

Tempest is promised to be a blues and a Christian album simultaneously, and also to be dedicated to Titanic. With the new scandalous video, the ground for the album to hit top chart lines has been already formed.
