Recently, "Kalyadnaya Krama," located on Koltsova Street in Minsk, began selling a series of Christmas ornaments with portraits of Belarusian writers and educators. Among them were Vasil Bykov, Francysk Skaryna, Yanka Kupala, Maxim Bogdanovich, Vladimir Korotkevich, and others. There was also Larisa Geniush, and it was her personality that propagandists took issue with.

According to a letter from the administration of the Soviet district of Minsk, published by informant Olga Bondareva, the police are currently conducting an investigation into the "Kalyadnaya Krama" store.

The letter, signed by the head of the administration, Alexander Schekovich, states that the Minsk City Executive Committee received electronic appeals claiming that employees of "Kalyadnaya Krama" were distributing "materials rehabilitating Nazism" by selling toys with a portrait of Geniusz.

As of today, the store's operations have been suspended: the premises have been closed and sealed since November 15. It is reported that the authorities are conducting an investigation within the framework of criminal procedure legislation and will give a legal assessment of the situation.

Alexander Schekovich also reported that the store allegedly found violations of the requirements of the Council of Ministers resolution regulating the sale of certain types of goods. The store was issued an order to eliminate the violations, and as of November 21, it had been fulfilled.

According to the official, the store's website no longer offers Christmas tree decorations with the image of Larisa Geniusz.
