New traffic lights have appeared in Belarus.
New generation traffic lights have been installed on the streets of Vitebsk, according to the traffic police department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
Modern traffic lights with contour LED backlighting have been installed at the intersection of Zamkovaya and Kalinina streets.
«This is not just beautiful — it is a step towards improving road safety. Bright backlighting makes the signals more visible at any time of the day. Visibility is improved — especially in rain, snow and fog,» — reports the traffic police.
