Vilnius Airport operations have been restricted again.
On the evening of December 6, the Lithuanian National Crisis Management Center reported that flights to Vilnius Airport were restricted due to the appearance of navigation markers characteristic of weather balloons.

According to the NCCC, due to a hybrid attack by Belarus and to ensure the safety of civil aviation, the airspace over Vilnius Airport was closed from 18:06 to 21:05.
The services are monitoring the movements of navigation signs and, if possible, will open the airport earlier if it is safe to do so.
