MTZ launched a new most powerful tractor for testing PHOTOS
MTZstarted testinga new powerful tractor — Belarus 5425. This is a general-purpose tractor with a 4×4 wheel formula, with an engine power of 542 horsepower, complying with the Stage IIIA ecological standard,writesBlizko.by.
The tractor is equipped with a hydromechanical gearbox with electro-hydraulic control, which allows shifting gears without interrupting the power flow. The clutch is a multi-disc friction type, operating in oil.
The Belarus 5425 is equipped with a front hitch with a lifting capacity of 5.5 thousand kg and a rear one — 12 thousand kg, as well as a rear power take-off shaft, a hydraulic system with two axial-piston pumps with a total output of 305 l/min. This allows working with a large amount of modern high-performance agricultural machinery. Dual wheels and ballast weights are possible.
A 900-liter tank ensures continuous operation for up to 10 hours. All systems are controlled from the right armrest of the seat via buttons and joysticks without mechanical linkages, which reduces operator fatigue and increases productivity.
Currently, only a few people know how to operate this tractor, as working with such power requires mastering many nuances and completing all testing stages. In the future, the Belarus 5425 is planned to be launched into mass production.
