The Kolobike bike-sharing service has started selling off its bicycles, which may indicate a possible change in its operating format or the closure of the project, writes "Minskaya Prauda".
An advertisement for the sale of bicycles previously used in urban sharing appeared on the "Kufar" platform on December 12. It was noted that GPS trackers had been removed from the vehicles.
Meanwhile, the official Kolobike website is currently not working.
Company representatives confirmed that the sale is indeed taking place and is linked to an upcoming reorganization.
According to them, classic bicycles are gradually being replaced by electric scooters, so in the future, the service may either change its format or cease operations altogether as early as next season.
The Kolobike project began its operations in 2019 and worked as an urban bike-sharing service for several years.
