From January 1, 2026, the base rate is set at Br297. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

Compared to January 1, 2025, the base rate increased by 10% — that is, approximately to the level of inflation.

The increase in the base rate will lead to an increase in salaries in budget-funded organizations. Since other stimulating and compensatory payments are tied to the base rate, their amounts will also increase from January 1, 2026.

In Belarus, from January 1, the minimum wage also increased — to 858 rubles.
