In Minsk, a man sprayed gas at a saleswoman who prevented him from stealing pancakes
The manager of one of the stores in the Zavodski district of Minsk reported to the police that an unknown man, while intoxicated, tried to steal merchandise, and when she tried to prevent him, he used pepper spray against her.

Patrol police officers quickly apprehended the 40-year-old Minsk resident, who had previously been prosecuted for illegal drug trafficking.
It turned out that at the checkout, the man only paid for alcoholic beverages, and simply put a package of pancakes into his pocket and tried to quickly leave the store with them. The saleswoman noticed this and asked him to return the merchandise. However, after the pancakes were left at the checkout, the man sprayed the woman in the face with gas and fled.
A criminal case was opened against him under the article "Hooliganism".
