The French President believes that the proposed statute of the new structure goes far beyond resolving the situation around the Gaza Strip and raises serious doubts about upholding the principles and role of the United Nations.

Earlier, a draft statute of the Peace Council appeared in the media. According to it, Donald Trump plans to demand one billion dollars from countries wishing to become permanent members of the organization, and also reserves the decisive say in all decisions.

Trump has already sent invitations to several European states, Canada, as well as Putin and Lukashenka. In Poland, the government warned President Karol Nawrocki that participation in such an organization is only possible with the consent of the government and parliament.
