Trump stated that American warships are heading towards Iran
"We are watching Iran," Donald Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, returning from the World Economic Forum in Davos.

According to the head of the White House, the US "has a lot of ships moving in that direction — just in case..." "We have large forces heading to Iran," he added. Trump described them as an "armada" and a "huge fleet," but noted: "Perhaps we won't have to use them."
Last week, Trump backed away from a threat to strike Iran after the White House said Tehran had paused planned executions of protesters, AFP reports.
On Wednesday, Iranian authorities officially reported for the first time on the casualties of protests that have gripped the country since late last year, stating that 3,117 people died in them. Human rights organizations claim that the actual death toll may be much higher.
