In Gomel, a sakura bloomed in the frost
A resident of Gomel recorded an unusual video showing a tree resembling a sakura blooming in the city.
And this is in the frost, at a temperature of −15 °C! The video was published by blogger Kokobay.
Sakura is a decorative Japanese cherry, which in its homeland, Japan, usually blooms every spring from late March to early April, with the peak blooming period falling in the first weeks of April.
In Belarus, blooming occurs in mid to late April.
