A criminal case has been opened against Mikola Dziadok
In Belarus, a criminal case has been initiated against former political prisoner Mikola Dziadok. Dziadok announced this on Facebook.
“The investigator is not revealing the details: supposedly for some of my ‘extremist’ publications or statements. And for some reason in Vitebsk. My parents are being interrogated. The day before yesterday, GUBZiK (Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption) tried to publish a post with an audio recording of my conversation in prison in 2024. They published some funny two-minute excerpt and immediately deleted it. State propagandists have become active on their channels: every day there's a post about what a scoundrel I am. And not only them are engaged in this, yes. But, in general, no one said it would be easy,” Dziadok wrote.
Mikola Dziadok was released on September 11, 2025, and forcibly taken abroad.
