Anticyclone "Daniel" will replace cyclone "Leoni"
The Scandinavian anticyclone "Daniel" is approaching Belarus, bringing strong frosts and arctic air, reports Belhydromet. It will replace cyclone "Leoni", which brought a short thaw and a small portion of warmth from Southern Europe.

Anticyclone "Daniel" will push the cloud fields of the cyclone out of the country and open the way for arctic air. As a result, precipitation will gradually stop, and frosts will intensify.
Forecasts for individual days:
- January 30 (Friday): light snow is possible at night in some southern regions, black ice persists throughout the country; at night -6° in the south to -22° in the north, during the day -9…-15°, in the south -6…-8°.
- January 31 — February 1: the anticyclone strengthens, it will be mostly without precipitation, fog and hoarfrost are possible in the north; at night -15…-26° (in some places up to -31° on February 1), during the day -10…-20°.
- February 1—4: anomalous frosts will continue, at night -16…-29°, in some places up to -32°; black ice and fog are possible.
Forecasts from Yandex and Gismeteo.by services also show that the last days of January and the beginning of February will be very frosty. An orange hazard level remains due to complex hydrometeorological conditions.
