Expert explained why even pharmacies of the same chain can have different prices for medicines
Liudmila Sapega, head of Gomel «Pharmacia», explained on STB TV channel why prices for medicinal preparations differ in pharmacies.
«This can be related to certain loyalty programs that are provided to ensure accessibility. It can also be related to different delivery times for medicinal products, — explained Liudmila Sapega. — In other words, for example, the purchase price of a medicine was one, and since a particular pharmacy has a higher turnover, it was sold out faster. And a delivery to the regional pharmacy warehouse was made at a new price, and the pharmacy is already purchasing medicines at the new price.» Thus, it turns out that even in the same pharmacy, the price can differ on different days.»
