Russian military boasted about hitting a residential building, where people remained, with a three-ton bomb

Russian propaganda resources published a video of a powerful FAB-3000 aerial bomb strike on the village of Kovsharovka in Kharkiv region. It was claimed that the target was a "stronghold," but local residents recognized an ordinary residential five-story building in the footage.

The strike of a three-ton FAB aerial bomb on a "militant stronghold" in the village of Kovsharovka was published by the Telegram channel "Operativny Prostranstvo" ("Operational Space"), ASTRA noticed.

"Explosive greetings from the Russian Aerospace Forces," the video was captioned.

In a group for the Kupyansk district, local residents identified the attacked house — No. 67, and also wrote that people were hiding in the basement. According to them, nothing was left of two entrances of the house.

One of the residents of house No. 67 informed ASTRA that at the time of the attack, 4 people remained there. Two of them are an elderly couple, Olga and Dmitry Bobrov. According to her, they are over 60 years old and refused to leave the besieged town. "They said, we will stay at home until the very end. The house is on stilts, maybe they are alive," their neighbor said.
