First cucumber harvest gathered in Belarus
The first cucumber harvest of the year has begun in the greenhouses of the "Brylyova" enterprise in the Gomel district.

This year's first vegetable picking is record early. Modern technologies allow cultivating cucumbers in the midst of severe frost season, reports the Telegram channel "Gomel Region Officially".
More than six hectares are allocated for cucumbers at the greenhouse complex; when selecting varieties, preference was given to popular hybrids. At its core are two proven varieties, "Magura" and "Atlet", with good consumer and taste qualities.
Farmers are not inclined to speculate about greenhouse yields. They say it's too early. However, it's already clear at the start of the picking that the projected figures will not disappoint.
