The director's cut of «The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring» will be screened, with sessions starting on February 12th. They are organized in mooon cinema network theaters — in the Dana Mall and Palazzo shopping centers located in Minsk and in the Triniti shopping center which is in Hrodna.
«The Fellowship of the Ring» was released back in 2001, so it's not the latest blockbuster with advertisements everywhere. Moreover, the director's cut runs for a whopping 3 hours and 50 minutes, which might intimidate some viewers.
Nevertheless, tickets for some screenings are already completely sold out. This refers to the 6 PM sessions on February 12th and 13th at Dana Mall, as well as the Sunday session at 2:10 PM at the same cinema.
Seats for other screenings are also selling out quickly. For example, if you want to go to the 6 PM session on February 12th at Palazzo, finding a good seat in the center will already be difficult. Only a few seats are available for the Dana Mall session on February 14th at 2:10 PM. There are literally only a few sessions left where the choice of seats is still wide.
The distributors also had to schedule additional screenings — instead of the previously promised 4 days of screenings the movie will be screened during 7 days. The new days of screenings, from February 16th till February 18th, became available only a few hours ago yet people already buy tickets for these sessions.
