Storks started their journey home from Africa
Polish ornithologists reported that the white stork Druhi with a transmitter set off from its wintering grounds near Chad's capital N'Djamena north towards Europe.
The bird has been on its way for several days, reports the Telegram channel "Wildlife Nearby"
Alongside the white storks, adult black storks are also expected to embark on their long journey home.
Usually, the first storks return to Belarus in mid-March.
Ahead of the birds are thousands of kilometers and many challenges.
