Trump called the decision of 'these damn courts' a disgrace
U.S. President Donald Trump called the Supreme Court's decision to declare his global tariffs illegal a "disgrace," but said he has a backup plan, writes CNN, citing its sources.

During a White House breakfast on February 20 with governors, Trump expressed outrage at the court's decision, criticized the judges, and at one point even said "these damn courts." He assured those present that the administration is ready for alternative ways of imposing duties if the court cancels them.
According to CNN, in recent weeks, Trump, in private conversations, resented the delay in the court's decision and changed his mind about its outcome, sometimes doubting a possible decision because many interests were at stake.
The U.S. Supreme Court's decision on February 20 declared illegal broad tariffs imposed by Trump on imports from other countries using the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, which calls into question the legality of these tariffs.
