The small forward and one of the leaders of the Los Angeles Lakers achieved this in a regular season National Basketball Association game against the Boston Celtics, in which his team suffered a defeat with a score of 89:111.

The 41-year-old James spent a total of 34 minutes on the court, scoring a total of 20 points (9 of 21 from the field, where 1 of 5 was three-pointers; 1 of 1 was free throws), five assists and four rebounds.
The forward's 'plus-minus' rating at the end of the game was '-14'.
Thus, LeBron became the first player in the history of the North American league to score 43,000 points in regular season games.
