The Champions League play-off matches are over. Eight more participants of the Champions League were determined on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The teams that reached this stage are: Atlético (Madrid), Bayer (Leverkusen), Norwegian Bodø/Glimt, English Newcastle, Atalanta, Galatasaray, PSG, and Real Madrid.
Moreover, Bodø/Glimt knocked out the Italian league leader Inter, winning both matches, and Galatasaray defeated Juventus.
Earlier, the eight best clubs from the general stage directly qualified for the 1/8 finals of the Champions League. These are: Arsenal, Bayern, Liverpool, Tottenham, Barcelona, Chelsea, Sporting, Manchester City.
They were joined by the eight play-off winners. Who will play whom? Each club has two potential opponents:
Arsenal — Bayer or Atalanta
Bayern — Bayer or Atalanta
Liverpool — Atlético or Galatasaray
Tottenham — Atlético or Galatasaray
Barcelona — PSG or Newcastle
Chelsea — PSG or Newcastle
Sporting — Real or Bodø/Glimt

The draw for the 1/8 finals will take place on Friday, February 27. The first legs of this stage will be held on March 10 and 11, and the second legs on March 17 and 18.
