In Lida district, two female pensioners decided to save money on sanatorium trips, but after returning home, it turned out that their story caught the attention of employees from the department for combating economic crimes.

The women rested in the sanatorium for 13 days, and they did indeed purchase tickets for it, but not at full price. The pensioners made arrangements with the management of the institution for the documents to be issued not in their names, but in the names of people who were entitled to a 70% discount.

According to the police, the scheme was beneficial for all participants: employees received better occupancy rates and additional "gratitude" from clients, while vacationers enjoyed services at a significantly lower cost.

As a result, the sanatorium employees were brought to criminal responsibility for the manipulations, and criminal cases were initiated against the pensioners for using forged documents.
