Ukrainian citizens detained in Hungary to be expelled from the country
The detained Sberbank employees will be expelled from the country, Hungarian government spokesman Zoltán Kovács announced in his tweet.
"The authorities established that the operation [to transport money and gold] was carried out under the leadership of a former general of the Security Service of Ukraine, his deputy was a former air force major, and people with military experience also assisted [in the transport]. Based on this data, all seven individuals will be expelled from Hungary," Kovács wrote.
He did not report on the fate of the cash euros, dollars, and gold, nor the armored collection vehicles.
