At the 'Zhdanovichi' market in Minsk, a number of pavilions were demolished, including eateries, among them the popular 'Saigon'. This is how the site is being prepared for the construction of an overpass from Kamennaya Gorka to Lebyazhy via Zhdanovichi. Photos were published by Dzianis Blishch on the Telegram channel 'Minsk and its Residents'.
The overpass over the railway will be built in the area of Kalesnikava Street — Timiryazeva Street, writes Realt.by.
Here's what Sergei Panev, director of 'Gardarbud,' said about this construction at the end of last year: "This is a rather complex project, but at the same time, very interesting. We will give a kind of unspoken start to the formation of the third ring road through Minsk by connecting Kalesnikava and Timiryazeva streets with the further possibility of traffic flow exiting onto Independence Avenue. We believe this will have a positive effect on relieving this bottleneck — traffic jams will disappear from the ring road above the 'Zhdanovichi' station."

Currently, a number of pavilions have already been demolished in Zhdanovichi, including eateries (the well-known 'Saigon' and others). And on the site where second-hand clothing stalls used to stand, a temporary parking lot has been organized. A construction site fence has appeared from the side of Kalesnikava Street.
