The IDF states that this facility was used to develop advanced explosives and conduct experiments as part of the secret "Amad" project in the 2000s.
The "Talegan-2" nuclear center is located in the settlement of Parchin, near Tehran. Within the "Amad" project, research was conducted in 2003-2004 to create five nuclear warheads.
