Next week, spring will gather pace
Forecaster Dmitry Ryabov told ONT what the weather will be like in Belarus from March 16 to 22.

According to Dmitry Ryabov, spring will gradually strengthen, and the average air temperature will be 4-6 degrees above the climatic norm. Snow will melt quickly, and by the end of the week, it may remain only in the extreme eastern and northeastern regions of the country.
On Monday, March 16, the weather will be mostly dry due to an anticyclone and warm air masses from southwestern Europe. Only in the west are short spring rains possible. At night, temperatures will range from -1 to +4°C, and during the day, the air will warm up from approximately +9 in the east to +14 in the southwest. Fogs are possible in the morning and at night.
On Tuesday, March 17, the influence of the anticyclone will persist in the east of the country, so there will be few clouds and no significant precipitation. In the west, short rains are possible. At night, temperatures will be from -1 to +5 °C, during the day — from +6 to +12 °C.
In the middle of the week, the weather will cool down slightly due to a cyclone coming from northeastern Europe. No significant precipitation is expected, but dense fogs are possible in the morning. At night, it will be from -1 to +4 °C, during the day — approximately from +5 in the northeast to +12 in the west.
On Thursday, March 19, conditions will remain similar: without significant precipitation, but with fogs. At night, temperatures are expected from -1 to +3°C, during the day — from +5 in the east to +12 in the west of the country.
On Friday, March 20, an atmospheric front will pass through Belarus, bringing short-term precipitation. At night and in the morning, fogs are again possible. Nighttime temperatures will range from -1 to +4°C, during the day — from +6 in the northwest and center to +12 in the southeast.
Over the weekend, the weather will be more variable. On Saturday, March 21, light rains and wet snow are possible in places. At night, temperatures will drop from +3 to -2 °C, during the day it will be approximately from +9 in the Brest region to +13 in the Gomel region.
On Sunday, March 22, thanks to an anticyclone, the weather will be calm and mostly without precipitation. At night, light frosts down to -2 °C and fogs are possible. During the day, temperatures will range from +9 in the east to +13 in the Brest and Grodno regions.
