Commander of Unmanned Systems Forces (UAS) Robert "Madyar" Brovdi announced the start of a large-scale spring offensive by Russian troops, which met with fierce Ukrainian resistance.

Russian troops launched a spring offensive on several sectors of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, using fog and bad weather as cover for their assaults, Robert Brovdi stated.

According to him, over one and a half days on the front section from Rodynske to Huliaipole, the Russian side lost more than 900 people and failed to advance in any of the sectors.

Brovdi linked the offensive not only to the worsening weather but also to Russia's pre-prepared start of the spring-summer campaign.

Russian forces launched attacks under the cover of fog, which lasted for several days. The main push, Brovdi claims, occurred at dawn on March 17, when infantry, motorcycles, armored vehicles, and even horses simultaneously moved into battle. According to Brovdi's assessment, on March 17 alone, Russian losses in this sector amounted to over 500 people killed and wounded.

Combat operations continued the next day as the fog did not dissipate. According to Madyar, as of noon on March 18, Russian losses further increased, totaling over 900 people over one and a half days.

«We will consider the spring-summer offensive partially uncorked," Brovdi writes.
