Political prisoners released on March 19 after the arrival of American diplomats, and who were allowed to stay in Belarus, were given strict conditions for their stay at liberty, reports the "Pink Scarves" initiative .

According to available information, before their release, some political prisoners were explained the conditions of their further stay at liberty.
Among the main requirements:
- prohibition of using bank cards;
- prohibition of registering and using SIM cards;
- any violation (even minor ones, such as alcohol consumption) can lead to re-imprisonment.
It is also reported that during holidays, those released may be placed in temporary detention facilities (ICHU) or pre-trial detention centers (SIZA).
According to separate data, a significant number of women were released without passports. The official explanation is that the documents were allegedly lost.
Previously, released political prisoners were not subjected to such strict conditions.
