Why the Logoysk ski resort closed
Details of the closure of the Logoysk ski resort, which ceases operation on March 31, have become known. "Minskaya Pravda" contacted Alexander Boyko, Deputy Chairman of the Logoysk District Executive Committee for Economy, regarding this news and received his comment on the situation.

According to the official, the complex is a private project, and its owners decided to cease operations due to financial difficulties. According to their reasoning, they can no longer bear the costs of maintaining the facility, so they plan to sell it to settle with creditors and fulfill their obligations.
A representative of the Logoysk District Executive Committee reported that the authorities had received an official notification of the closure. It also became known that the complex has been seized by court order and will be sold through the system of forced execution.
It is noted that the resort's employees will not be left without work — they are promised to be offered other vacancies in the region.
A lawyer for the "Triple" company, which owns this complex, declined to comment on the situation.
"Logoysk" was opened in January 2004 and became one of the first modern ski centers in the country. The complex belongs to Yury Chyzh, a businessman previously close to Lukashenka, and now in disfavor.
In 2023, the property was attempted to be put up for auction, but a buyer could not be found at that time.
