Security forces demanded a written undertaking from a former political prisoner not to return to Belarus

A former political prisoner from Mogilev reported that an officer of the Kastrychnitski District Department of Internal Affairs of the city, Aliaksandr Tabunou, approached him and demanded he fill out a special document, human rights defenders from Mayday.team write.

In the document, the person must indicate that they will not return to Belarus. If a return is still planned, a specific date must be specified.

The former political prisoner was also required, after filling it out, to photograph this document and to take a self-portrait with the paper in hand.

Despite this, the former political prisoner's Belarusian passport has already been revoked. Nevertheless, he is still required to provide an answer.
