In total, 1284 transactions were recorded in Minsk in March, so the share of buyers from Russia amounted to approximately one-tenth of the total.

The agency noted that Russians have the legal right to buy real estate in Belarus. They can purchase both apartments and houses or offices without restrictions, but they must correctly conduct financial settlements, especially when it comes to large sums.

Experts believe that such buyers influence the growth of average prices. Usually, they are interested not in the cheapest housing, but in higher-class apartments, which raises the overall price level on the market.

The growing interest of Russians in housing in Belarus may be related to restrictions in Russia itself. In this regard, some people are considering moving to Belarus and exploring opportunities for living in the country.
