The position of the enterprise head now remains vacant. This occurred during a crucial period when the site for the future radioactive waste repository is being chosen.
Among the possible options, several districts are being considered: Khoiniki in the Gomel region, Mstislavl in the Mogilev region, and Ostrovets in the Grodno region.
Previously, Logvin personally visited all these regions and met with local residents, explaining to them that the future facility would be safe. The last such meeting took place at the end of March in Ostrovets.
It is currently unknown who will lead the enterprise next and how this will affect the process of selecting a construction site.
