Telegram creator Pavel Durov commented on the messenger's blocking in Russia, promising to make its traffic “more difficult to detect and block.”
“Welcome back to the 'Digital Resistance', my Russian brothers and sisters. Now the whole nation is mobilized to circumvent these absurd restrictions. We will also adapt by making Telegram traffic more difficult to detect and block,” he wrote.
The entrepreneur noted that several years ago, Iran banned Telegram — “and the result was similar to Russia's.” According to his data, 65 million Russians use Telegram daily via VPN, and over 50 million send messages.
