Businesswoman and blogger Volha Hleb closed the second to last store of her clothing brand, and is now starting to sell off production
The wife of former footballer Viachaslau Hleb frankly tells subscribers that things are not going very well for Moshe.
The Moshe store in the Trend Park shopping center, which operated there for six years, officially closed on April 1. As a result, Volha is left with only one offline store — in Green City.
Now, the wife of former footballer Viachaslau Hleb announced on Threads that she has made a number of important decisions regarding the brand. One of them is the sale of the production facility.
She posted an advertisement: «Only 16 machines, scissors for the cutting workshop, ironing equipment, a plotter for printing patterns. A large cutting table. Also two tables for computers and documents. Shelving units, hangers. Everything is there. Come and work.» And the premises itself, with an area of 150 square meters.
Volha is selling all of this for ten thousand dollars. Fabric remnants can also be purchased separately. The businesswoman was asked if this meant she was closing the Moshe brand or if she would now sew everything in China. She answered laconically: «No. No.»
Previously, the blogger told subscribers about the main difficulties she faces as a brand creator. And the first is the high rental prices in metropolitan shopping centers. She says the minimum rate is 10 thousand rubles per month.
With production, everything was also not very simple. Because people who sew for you need to be provided with work, even if there is already too much merchandise: «And further, overstocking awaits you.»
At the same time, customers will always be missing something: «Even if you offer four colors of one model, customers will definitely ask: «What other colors will there be?» But the one they want, of course, you won't have.»
And finding staff, it turns out, is a challenging task. Volha complained that in ten years of work, she only had five truly professional consultants. Incidentally, people in the comments confirmed this with stories about how they went into Moshe and the sales assistant didn't even stop her phone conversation.
But there were also questions for the businesswoman regarding salary. She once asked on Threads if the payment she offered for part-time work was normal — 178 rubles for two days of work as a sales assistant in the store.
Most commentators agreed that for 12 hours of work daily — this is not enough. Because with a two-days-on, two-days-off schedule, it's only realistic to earn 1400 rubles per month.
Volha Hleb admits that she admires beginners who launch their own brands in modern conditions. Incidentally, last year her relatives created such a brand — Sviatlana Hleb, along with her daughter Anastasiya, launched Le Chik.
And they have already managed to get into an interesting situation. On one of the Chinese websites, the exact same suit as Le Chik's was found. Sviatlana Hleb stated that the Chinese copied their design.
