Russia currently does not keep large military forces on the territory of Belarus — State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
Speaker of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko stated that Ukrainian border guards do not record the movement of equipment or the pulling up of troops to the border on the territory of Belarus, writes «Ukrinform».

«There is no pulling up of troops. Since 2022, Belarus has maintained its units in certain directions. At that time, they stated that this was to strengthen their security, as they expected some actions from Ukraine, although Ukraine has never threatened Belarus and does not plan to carry out such actions.
Therefore, there are those units that Belarus maintained in the direction of our border even before this. They rotate, change, their movements are carried out, but there is no build-up of even these units,»
— Demchenko noted on air.
According to him, there is no movement of equipment in the immediate vicinity of the border either. «Informationally escalating, at one time they [Belarus] announced the creation of the Southern Operational Command precisely in the direction of the border with Ukraine. Within this, positions, training grounds, and access roads may be arranged,» — noted the representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
He added that Russia currently does not keep large forces on the territory of Belarus, including infantry units that could carry out a repeat invasion of Ukraine.
At the same time, according to Demchenko, some provocative actions cannot be ruled out, including with the aim of diverting Ukrainian forces to this direction from more important ones.
