A large construction project is planned in Zaslaŭje
A detailed planning project for the historical center of Zaslaŭje has been put up for public discussion. This was reported by BelTA in the Minsk District Executive Committee. Public opinions regarding the future changes will be collected from April 30 to May 14.
The detailed plan concerns the territory of the central part of Zaslaŭje within the boundaries of Projected Street No. 2 — railway — canal (Kniahińka River) — Vilejka-Minsk water system canal — Čarnica River. This territory includes historical buildings with a total area of 60.6 hectares. The project defines the following stages: the first stage of implementation — until 2030, the second stage — until 2040.
The goal of Zaslaŭje's center development is to increase its urban planning value, tourism potential, and create an interesting and favorable environment for residents and guests of the city. Simultaneously, this will create prerequisites for increasing the city's prestige and its attractiveness for investors.
The project envisages the construction of multi-apartment low-rise and estate-type buildings, public service facilities and social spaces, including educational institutions, retail and public catering facilities, pharmacies, household service facilities, communication centers, bank branches, as well as a multifunctional public-commercial center, a spa complex, a craft center (with a mini-bakery, pottery workshop, straw weaving workshops, weaving) and others.
The project presentation will take place on May 6 at 18:00 in the building of the Zaslaŭje City Executive Committee at the address: Zaslaŭje city, Vialiakaja Street, 1.
