U.S. President Donald Trump once again criticized German Chancellor Friedrich Merz over his skeptical remarks regarding American policy towards Iran and advised him to pay more attention to the war in Ukraine and the situation in his own country. He wrote about this on his social media platform Truth Social. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also received a dressing-down.

«The German Chancellor should be spending more time stopping the War between Russia & Ukraine (where he has proven to be totally ineffective!) and getting his broken Country in order, especially on Immigration & Energy, rather than meddling in the affairs of those fighting the Nuclear Threat from Iran, making the World, including Germany, a much safer place!» Trump wrote.

Earlier, in an interview with Sky News, the U.S. President, though more gently, also criticized British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, with whom his relationship has also deteriorated since the start of the war in Iran.

Trump stated that he likes Starmer, but he believes that the British Prime Minister «made a tragic mistake on immigration and a tragic mistake on energy.»

At the same time, he does not know if a state visit of King Charles III of Great Britain to the United States will help improve relations with Starmer. But Trump believes that Starmer should definitely learn to act like the King of Britain.

«Your Prime Minister should learn to act the way he acts, and he'll do a lot better,» the American president said.

Additionally, he praised the British King's speech to the U.S. Congress.

«I thought he was fantastic. It was a brilliant speech. It was delivered beautifully, with that wonderful accent that he has. I thought it was fantastic all around,» the U.S. President added.
