A cookbook with culinary recipes from Belarusian writers has been published

The book «Pa(d)shot. The Kitchen of Belarusian Writers» has been published by the «Kauchheg» publishing house. Author-compiler Katsiaryna Barysenka collected 50 recipes from Belarusian writers, reports bellit.info.

Each "author's" recipe is adorned with an illustration. Among those whose culinary recommendations are included in the book are poets and writers.

For example, you can prepare "Hearty Meat, with Mushrooms and Vegetables" by Tatsiana Barysik, babka by Siarhiej Khareuski, solyanka by Siarhiej Kalienda, and baked chicken by Ales Kamotski.

Also among the book's "chefs" you can find the names of Franz Siuko, Stas Karpau, Siroshka Pistonchyk, Uladzimir Hlazau, Andrei Dudko, and many others.

Adam Hlobus, Karatkevich-style Coffee

Pour two heaping tablespoons of coffee into a cezve (Turk). Add two halved black pepper grains and a few pinches of salt from the tip of a knife to the coffee. Pour boiling water over everything, stir, and then bring to a boil over a tiny flame so that a foam appears but does not spill out of the cezve.
