Another Belarusian hockey player signed a contract with an NHL club

The Utah Mammoths club from Salt Lake City announced the signing of a contract with Yegor Borikov, reports Hockey.by.

Belarusian forward Yegor Borikov signed an entry-level contract with "Utah" for three years.

At the 2025 NHL draft, the forward was selected by the "Mammoths" in the 4th round, 110th overall.

20-year-old Yegor Borikov started playing hockey at the Zhlobin "Metallurg" school. In the 2022/2023 season, he played in the Junior Hockey League for "Dinamo-Shinnik" from Babruysk, and in 2023, he got a chance to play for Minsk "Dinamo" in the KHL. He first signed a try-out contract, and then a full agreement until 2026.

Borikov, then 18 years old, scored his first KHL goal in November 2023 in a match against Omsk "Avangard", becoming the youngest goal-scorer in the history of Minsk "Dinamo". In the same year, he was called up to the Belarusian national team for the first time.
