Trump named "ideal successors"
The US President named a "dream team" for the 2028 presidential election.

Donald Trump stated that Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio could form a "dream team" for the 2028 presidential election, The Hill reports.
“Who likes J.D. Vance? Who likes Marco Rubio?” Trump asked during a dinner in the Rose Garden with law enforcement officials in honor of National Police Week. “Excellent. Sounds like a good choice.”
“J.D. is the ideal option. That was the ideal choice,” he said. The American leader noted that this “by no means implies” that he supports them.
“But, you know... I think it sounds like ‘presidential candidate’ and ‘vice presidential candidate’,” he added.
Rubio ran for president back in 2016 but ended his campaign after losing the primaries to Trump.
