Five Russian servicemen killed by drone strike in occupied Crimea
On the night of May 6, military facilities and a transport hub in the area of Dzhankoy, Crimea, came under a massive drone attack. The raid resulted in significant losses among Russian servicemen, as well as damage to expensive equipment and railway infrastructure, reported by the "Dosye shpiona" (Spy Dossier) channel.
The main blow fell on the strategically important railway station "Dzhankoy", where servicemen, employees of the Rosgvardiya (Russian National Guard), and FSB border service came under fire. As a result of the explosions, five people died and five more were injured.
At the station itself, a locomotive was destroyed and a number of freight cars were damaged, creating problems for military logistics in the region.
In addition to the railway hub, the attack also affected air defense positions. A hit on a launcher of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system was reported, although the extent of its damage is unknown.
Two vehicles of mobile fire groups, which tried to repel the raid, were also destroyed. One soldier was killed, and ten people were injured.
It is reported that strike drones equipped with "Starlink" satellite communication control systems were used for the attack.
