Belarus and Azerbaijan mutually recognized driver's licenses
This step spares people from the need to undergo retraining and re-take exams when moving.
The government of Belarus approved an agreement with Azerbaijan, which allows citizens of both countries to use their licenses and exchange them under a simplified scheme.
Driver's licenses issued in Belarus and Azerbaijan are now considered valid in both countries.
Citizens can exchange their licenses for local ones without taking theoretical and practical exams. The simplified exchange of documents can be used after obtaining a permanent residence permit.
