New hero in Russia: Dima from Ishim left the bar and woke up 300 km away — in Tyumen, in a coal wagon

A story that more closely resembles the plot of an extreme comedy has made Dmitry Klimov, a resident of the Russian city of Ishim, a true internet star.
It all started when video-circle messages appeared on social media, which Dima recorded for his friend Sanya. The footage shows a young man whose face is completely covered in black coal dust. While heavily intoxicated, Dima tries to explain the situation:
“Sanya, I guess I won’t be coming to work. It’s six in the morning. And I’m going somewhere in a coal wagon. I don’t know where I’m going or when I’ll arrive.”
In subsequent videos, Dima informed Sanya that he was in Tyumen, and once again stated that he would not be able to come to work.
“I don’t understand at all how I arrived in Tyumen in a coal wagon. Why? And what if I had arrived not in Tyumen, but in some Abkhazia? What would I have done then?” — the young man notes.
Between Ishim and Tyumen is almost 300 kilometers, which the guy covered as a "stowaway" among the fuel.
Later, when Dmitry returned home, he recounted the details of that unusual night. According to him, it all happened on the night of May 8-9, when Victory Day is celebrated in Russia.
“I was relaxing in Ishim at a local bar. In the morning I had to go to work, and as the most responsible person, I decided to walk home to, so to speak, clear my head,” Klimov wrote on his Instagram.
However, the plan to "clear his head" did not go according to script. Dima frankly admits that he does not remember how he ended up on the railway: “How I got there is known only to the 'Tequila Boom' cocktail. Besides my phone, I had nothing else with me.”
Dmitry's videos instantly went viral.

Law enforcement agencies became interested in the "hero" himself. The transport police fined the traveler 2000 Russian rubles — about 26 dollars — for violating railway transport rules of conduct.
