Man Dies in Australia After Shark Attack
The incident occurred near Rottnest Island in Western Australia, not far from Horseshoe Reef. According to police, the 38-year-old man was likely bitten by a shark.

"Emergency services received a report of a possible shark attack off the coast of Rottnest Island. A 38-year-old man reportedly sustained a shark bite. He was brought ashore by vessel, where paramedics met him. Unfortunately, he could not be saved," the police statement said.
Witnesses reported seeing a large great white shark, up to five meters long, approximately 80 meters from the shore.
Rottnest Island is considered a popular tourist destination in the region.
