Nobel laureate Ales Bialiatski, in his speech at the III Congress of Political Prisoners in Vilnius, outlined three main conditions for the start of changes in the country: the release of all political prisoners, an end to repression, and national dialogue. He emphasized that Belarusians, regardless of their location, remain one family, united by the desire for justice, writes "Viasna".

"We found ourselves abroad not of our own free will, but we are all one family. We are united by Belarusian prison, the thirst for justice, and the desire to return to a democratic Belarus. We don't just want to be free; we want to be home in an independent country.

I urge the diplomatic corps not to ease pressure on the regime until our demands are met. Let's not get involved in internal quarrels, because the task of the special services is to divide us. Only together are we a real force capable of achieving change," emphasized Ales Bialiatski.
