"The enemy made a new attempt to attack the bridges in the direction of Chongar. Movement towards the Dzhankoy checkpoint is currently blocked. Also, last night the enemy struck the bridge connecting Henichesk with the Arabat Spit. Specialists have already inspected the structures. Traffic has been launched in reversible mode," he wrote.
The Chongar bridges — a railway bridge and a dam across the Syvash Bay — connect the territories of southern Ukraine occupied by Russian troops with annexed Crimea in its northeastern part.
Recently, the AFU has been regularly striking bridges connecting annexed Crimea with the mainland.
