A new electric sedan for $17,000 has gone on sale in Belarus

The official Changan distributor in Belarus has announced the price for the electric sedan UNI-L. It is positioned as one of the most affordable D-class electric cars officially presented in the country, av.by reports.

The model's length is 4,785 mm, width is 1,840 mm, height is 1,470 mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2,765 mm. The car is built on a proprietary front-wheel-drive electric platform. The electric motor develops 143 hp. The CATL traction battery capacity is 51.9 kWh. The declared range is up to 530 km (according to the Chinese CLTC cycle).

The Changan UNI-L will feature an interior trimmed with perforated leather, a "floating" center console, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a multimedia screen of the same diagonal, keyless entry, Bluetooth Hands Free, and much more.

Among the "smart assistants" are the ESP electronic stability system, HSA hill start assist system, TPMS tire pressure monitoring system, as well as a rearview camera, parking assistant, and other options.

The sedan costs 49,900 Belarusian rubles (approximately 17,445 US dollars equivalent).
