The main award of the XXXV International Pop Song Performers Contest "Vitebsk" was won by Italy's Rosy Alfano, performing under the creative pseudonym Soraya, Minsk-News reports.
After two competitive days, the singer scored 135 points and became the owner of the Grand Prix.
On the second competitive day, participants performed compositions in one of the Slavic languages, accompanied by the National Presidential Orchestra under the direction of Vitaly Kulbakov.
The Italian singer performed the composition "Don't Kiss," for which she received the maximum number of points and the main prize of the creative competition.
The first prize of the competition was awarded to Akereke Amalyat from Kazakhstan, who scored 134 points.
The second prize was shared by Belarusian Alena Kuzniatsova and Moldovan representative Aliaksei Osichau. In addition, Aliaksei Osichau received the special Vladimir Mulyavin Award for the best embodiment of a national theme and high performance skill.
