He was caught in his father's garden house.
21-year-old Islamist Abdul Ballout, suspected of the attack on LGBT Pride in Berlin, has been shot dead.
The special operation to apprehend him took place in a garden house in Berlin's Spandau district. Ballout attacked the police with a cold weapon during the attempted arrest. They returned fire. The 21-year-old sustained injuries and died from them at 18:34, according to Bild.
The garden house where Ballout was shot allegedly belongs to his father. Police tracked him down thanks to tips from the terrorist's personal circle.
Recall that on Saturday evening in Berlin, around 22:00, Abdul Ballout drove a white Citroën into a crowd of people in Tiergarten Park during the annual LGBT Christopher Street Day parade. A woman died, and 29 people were injured (some seriously). After the collision, the perpetrator fled.
