Yesterday in Mazyr it was +40.3°C. It was 0.2°C short of breaking the national record for maximum temperature in the entire history of observations. On June 29, it was +40.4°C in Pinsk.

Yesterday, temperatures over 35 degrees were recorded in Brest, Pinsk, Drahichyn, Lelchytsy, Stolin, Brahin, Homel, and other towns and villages in the southernmost part of Belarus.

In Minsk, it was 32.5°C yesterday.

Today, temperatures are expected to range from +21°C in the northwest to +35°C in the Homel region, and up to +24°C in Minsk.

Short-term rains, thunderstorms are expected over most of the territory, with downpours and hail in some places during thunderstorms.
